This recipe has endless possibilities! I read the other reviews and decided to test out a few different toppings for taste. I used small red potatoes because that is what I had on hand and I put about a teaspoon of garlic in the water while it boiled. I used shredded parmesan cheese in the mixture instead of grated (I don't like the grated texture) and it was a good topping but, like some others commented, no Jazz. I topped the potato with the mix, added a little salsa and some cheddar cheese. It was AWESOME! Much better than potato skins

These sound great! You could also add some ranch dressing to the cream cheese mixture or put some fresh garlic in the water when boiling the potatoes.

A variation on this recipe is to scoop out the cooked potatoes from the skins, leaving skins intact like little boats, and mix with melted cheese[2% velveeta works great]and butter.... I sometimes add some steamed chopped broccoli to add some veggies.

Delicious! Better warm. The topping did not make enough for all the potatoes so I had to double it but it still worked great.

I brought these to a party and everyone was commenting on how cute they were and how good they tasted. They were easy to make and a fun appetizer. I will definitely make them again. I used a plastic bag and snipped the edge to pipe the topping onto the potatoes.

My family just loves this. Everytime we are invited out I get asked to make these. I usually have to triple the recipe. My brother always wants a tray for himself!! So good!
