These cupcakes are delicious! I am a Science teacher and used this recipe to demonstrate the layers of the Earth. This was a great visual, hands on deomstration as well as a delicious treat for my students.

I made 1/2 the recipe which made 10 cupcakes. I also used white cake mix instead of chocolate, and used chocolate frosting. They were very yummy and I will be making again soon. I might try the chocolate next time.

I made these for my 6 year daughter's b-day treats for school. WOW! HUGE HIT! The teacher and aide asked for the recipe. Really easy & my 6 year old helped.

I made these cupcakes last year for a cookout I had been invited too. They were a huge hit! They were the first of the desserts to dissappear. This year when our friends had their cookout, and requested for me to bring these cupcakes. I made them again, and within 10 mintues of us arriving to the party, they were gone. My own kids didn't even get one. Nex time, I am going to triple the recipe!!
