Maybe you think Alfredo is too rich, or too complicated, for a weeknight. Think again. Our version is simple and so full of flavor, only you will know it's a smarter choice.

Not great. I added spinach, garlic, steamed broccoli, red pepper and it still didn't really have much of a flavor. Pretty bland.

We love this recipe, and don't miss the extra calories at all.

This was horrible! The sauce did not taste like alfredo sauce, and nobody in my family ate it. Never making it again!

The recipe itself is so easy and delicious, I give it five stars easily! But the portion size? That's a joke. I am a small woman (5"2" and 104 pounds) and the serving size on this meal of 1 cup is ridiculous. It's just a way to get the calorie count under 300 to call this a light meal, but really, unless its a side dish (and 300 calories for a side dish is way too much!) you and your guests will definitely eat two to three times that amount just to have a decent sized meal. So just be aware that the calorie count on this only LOOKS low, but when you eat a regular portion, that number will go way up.

Very good! Even my picky two older ate it really well! It was also simple to make! I will be making this again!

i have made this recipe three times now, something big is missing, not too sure what though, and it can be a bit sour tasting, still workin on fixing something, it is good though and others seem to like it when i make it, but i add more garlic and also a bit more cheese! i will make it again but gotta tweak it a bit!

I added garlic, chicken or shrimp, and broccoli. Very good.

A go to recipe for a quick and easy alfredo sauce. Great at home and mid week

We should have read the reviews before we made the dish. Next time we will replace the nutmeg, probably with garlic. Still not bad. Adding chicken and broccoli would also be a nice touch.

This is my first attempt at Alfredo sauce. Varied the recipe a bit, due to the other reviews. Used shredded Parmesan and garlic pepper, and shrimp. I'm pretty pleased with the result.
