HEALTHY LIVING Fettuccine Alfredo recipe

Maybe you think Alfredo is too rich, or too complicated, for a weeknight. Think again. Our version is simple and so full of flavor, only you will know it's a smarter choice.

I made this last night and it was super quick and easy, however I felt like it was missing something (as other reviews also stated). Maybe it was because I omitted the nutmeg as I didn't have any on hand. I also added grilled chicken and added more flour to the sauce as others said and it turned out super creamy. I will try it again but will add more spices next time!

I have this recipe saved in my recipe box. Its a great go to meal when I am short on time and ingredients. Not to mention it very tasty! Everyone likes it ~ even my children.

I LOVED this recipe! I am incredibly picky when it comes to pasta, but this came out very good! I also added some cut, grilled chicken strips to give it some protein with out adding a lot to the calorie/fat content. My only advice is to be careful with the nutmeg and add a little more flour than what is called for. Otherwise its great!

Followed the recipe and used the ingredients required. This recipe is horrible, I could only the taste the chicken broth... I wouldn't have clicked on a star, but, I was required to...

My husband LOVES Fetuccinni Alfredo. We have been searching for a good recipe to have at home. We have tried many, many different recipes and were dissapointed at the taste. We decided to eat better so I was scanning the website and was very happy to find this recipe. We all love it! I have two kids, ages 3 and 1, who beg for more. We now have it at least once a week.

I normally stay away from Alfredo any time we go out to eat, so I was really pleased to see this "better for you" version that I could make at home. My husband and I try to eat as healthy as we can, so you can't beat 300 calories. I used whole wheat pasta though because that is the only thing we eat pasta wise. The only problem I had with this recipe was that it felt like it was missing something. I haven't quite figured out what yet though. Next time I will make it with some grilled chicken and see if that makes a difference. Still a very good recipe though!

I clicked Vegetarian Recipes and saw this recipe. Then I noticed it is made with chicken broth! Chicken's are not a vegetarian food!

This is a delicious recipe and I would highly recommend it. You could also make it with Vegetable stock to make it vegetarian friendly.

How can it be in the vegetarian catagory using chicken broth?
