I really couldn't taste the 'spiced apple'. And I thought is was a little bland. If I were to make it again I would definately spice it up but not with apples. I couldn't even taste them.

This is one of my kids favorite. I have one Daughter that is a vegaterian and this is perfect for every one. I serve with paninis and the kids can't get enough.

This recipe is wonderful, it sounds a little strange but it is delicious. I like it better without the apples and double the butter. Also, I use chicken stock instead of vegtable broth and add a little cubed ham. Serve a dollop of sour cream on top and add fresh dill for an extra flair.

I boil my squash in a separate pot before I do anything else. It makes it muuuuch easier to peel when you're ready to use it!

My kids all loved this soup. I did add a bit more butter and a little swoosh of sugar to sweetin it up a bit, but we love this soup!

Does 1 large Butternut squash equal the six cups called for in this recipe? This sounds really good, but I'm not sure how much/many squash I'll need.

Wonderful! I was very impressed with the creaminess of the soup and the flavor was excellent! I can't wait to make it for friends and family!

I enjoyed this tremendously.. if you dont mind using the microwave, you can nuke the squash for a couple of minutes and it is really easy to peel. I also added a can of navy beans and 1 teaspoon cardamom.

Delish and quick! Use a knife to "peel" the squash.
