No-Fail Baked Seafood Lasagna

What You Need

Tbsp. butter

Tbsp. flour

cups milk

cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

pkg. (10 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, thawed, drained

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Cottage Cheese

cup KRAFT Shredded Low-Moisture Part-Skim Mozzarella Cheese, divided

tsp. ground nutmeg

lasagna noodles, cooked, drained

lb. deveined peeled medium shrimp, cooked

cans (6 oz. each) crabmeat, drained, flaked

Make It

HEAT oven to 350°F.

MELT butter in large saucepan on medium heat. Whisk in flour until well blended. Gradually stir in milk. Bring to boil on medium heat, stirring constantly; simmer on low heat 3 to 5 min. or until thickened, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in Parmesan; set aside. Mix spinach, cottage cheese, 2/3 cup mozzarella and nutmeg.

SPREAD 2/3 cup Parmesan sauce onto bottom of 13x9-inch pan. Cover with 3 lasagna noodles and layers of half each of the shrimp, crabmeat and spinach mixture; top with 2/3 cup of the remaining Parmesan sauce. Repeat layers, starting with the noodles. Top with remaining noodles, Parmesan cheese sauce and mozzarella; cover.

BAKE 45 min. or until heated through, uncovering after 25 min. Let stand 10 min. before cutting to serve.

Substitute

Substitute ricotta cheese for the cottage cheese.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with a crisp mixed green salad loaded with plenty of cut-up fresh vegetables and tossed with your favorite KRAFT Dressing, such as KRAFT Light Red Wine Vinaigrette Dressing.

It was so delish..everyone at work thought it was great ..everyone thinks now I am a chef...to bring in more recipes like this ..if only they knew how easy it was to do..will do again its a keeper in my cookbook..

My family likes this!! I do doctor it up some though. I add garlic and fresh ground black pepper to the butter. I make it in a 9x9 pan instead of the 9x13 and add more cheese to every step. We didn't like the spinach the first time so I don't use it anymore. I use more shrimp and crab as well.

I did not like this at all but my family said make it again. I love seafood and usually my husband and kids don't but they will eat shrimp and I think that is what they liked about it. I will use a little less spinach and NO crab meat next time I cook it.

This recipe was disgusting...Probably the worst thing i have ever made. My boyfriend eats anything and even he would not finish this. We threw almost the whole pan away. It took forever to prepare and was so runny. I did drain the spinach too. Please do not waste your time on this !!!

I loved this recipe. It was easy to make and tasted great. I will probably use a larger quantity of shrimp than the recipe calls for (3/4lb rather than 1/2lb) when I make it again.
