Easy OREO Cheesecake

Everybody's two favorites- cheesecake and OREO Cookies are combined to make this fabulous cookie laced cheesecake a real WOW!

What You Need

OREO Cookies, divided

1/4

cup butter, melted

pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

cup sugar

tsp. vanilla

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

eggs

Make It

HEAT oven to 325°F.

PLACE 28 cookies in resealable plastic bag. Flatten bag to remove excess air, then seal bag. Finely crush cookies by rolling a rolling pin across the bag. Place crumbs in bowl. Add butter; mix well. Press onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan.

BEAT cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in large bowl with mixer until blended. Add sour cream; mix well. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each just until blended. Chop or crush remaining cookies. Gently stir 1-1/2 cups of the chopped cookies into batter. Pour over crust; sprinkle with remaining chopped cookies.

BAKE 1 hour 10 min. or until center is almost set. Run knife around rim of pan to loosen cake; cool before removing rim. Refrigerate 4 hours.

This was not as good as I had hoped. The crust didn't turn out well in texture or flavor. This was even a bit difficult to slice nicely! Disappointing recipe!

This wasn't the best. The crust wasn't at all what I expected the crust to be better, but it wasn't. The cheesecake was good but not the crust. Defineately not a REDO!!!

It was the first cheesecake I've ever made but it came out great! Both my husband and I loved this cheesecake's rich flavor and I would definitely make it again.

Made it for dessert at boyfriends parents house; they said it tasted like a professionals!! :) To avoid cracks in the top of the cheesecake, take care to not overmix the batter.

I thought this tasted great but it definitly didn't turn out like the picture. I don't know what I did wrong but the top cracked a lot. Other then that, it tasted great!

I first made it in Octorber 2006 for me and my boyfriend and we both loved it. made2 for Christmas 1 at our house and 1 for his moms house it was a huge hit every one loved it can not wait to try the strawberry swerl cheesecake. to share at easter
