S'Mores Dessert Squares

Here's a way to enjoy everyone's favorite ooey-gooey fireside treat with very little effort, and even less mess. No campfire required!

What You Need

NILLA Wafers, divided

Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted

Tbsp. sugar

pkg. (3.9 oz.) JELL-O Chocolate Instant Pudding

3-1/4

cups cold milk, divided

pkg. (3.4 oz. each) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding

1-1/2

cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

1-1/2

cups JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows

1/2

oz. BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, grated

Make It

HEAT oven to 350°F.

CRUSH 40 wafers; mix with butter and sugar. Press onto bottom of 13x9-inch pan. Bake 8 min. or until lightly browned. Cool.

BEAT 1 pkg. chocolate pudding mix and 1-1/4 cups milk with whisk 2 min.; spread over crust. Cover with remaining wafers. Whisk vanilla pudding mixes and remaining milk 2 min. Stir in COOL WHIP. Spread over wafer layer in pan. Refrigerate 3 hours.

HEAT broiler. Top dessert with marshmallows; broil 1 min. or until marshmallows are lightly browned. Top with grated chocolate.

Serve with a hot cup of brewed MAXWELL HOUSE Coffee.

Substitute

Substitute JELL-O White Chocolate Flavor Instant Pudding for the vanilla flavor pudding.

Take Along

Assemble dessert in 13x9-inch disposable foil pan. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate as directed. Store in an insulated cooler packed with plenty of ice or frozen gel packs to take along to your party destination. Uncover and top with marshmallows just before serving, then broil as directed.

My family and friends went crazy for this. It was all gone in a matter of minutes. It was simple and easy and very impressive. It looked like a gourmet dessert and it only took minutes. I highly recommend this is you have to make a dessert to take somewhere or just simply enjoy it yourself.

I loved this dessert!!!! I used sugar free fat free puddings and lite cool whip and it was still wonderful!! This will be used over and over again in my household!

I made this for a get together and it turned out pretty good. I think next time I will try it with a graham cracker crust and a little less butter as the nilla wafers do get soggey fast. I do have to say that mine looked just like the picture though and the guests' seemed to like it!

This recipe was very easy, and delicious, but I recommend eating it fairly quickly because the nilla wafers get soggy :)

This will be the perfect Dessert for my next family reunion. Testing this recipe on my Husband and Son... they got full before the Dessert was gone. I want to tell everyone to try this winner!

instead of vanilla wafers I use gram crackers.. worked out well.. well make again.. made i t for a meeting was a bug hit~!!
