I made this recipe with bacon wrapped turkey cutlets. Adding dressing to the gravy made the gravy SUPER runny & oily. It would be better with just gravy. I would NOT recommend this - and its surprising it has so many good reviews.
The Italian dressing combined with the gravy gave it a surprisingly good taste. I enjoyed this dish.
I kept the stuffing and mixture seperate because I don't like soggyness. This recipe isn't the best but was good and my husband loved it. I'd do less peas next time!
What a fantastic recipe. I made this for the family using chicken breast. The leftovers warmed up very well.
After reading other reviews I decided to make this with some adjustments. I used frozen peas and carrots instead of just peas and cut the quantity to 1/3 of what was called for in the recipe. In addition, instead of cooking the whole dish in a skillet, I put the browned pork into a baking pan, topped it with the gravy/dressing/veggie mixture and put the stuffing on top of that. I then put it in the oven at 350 for 25 minutes. This kept the stuffing from getting mushy. I cannot image what it would have been like with 3x the amount of peas!! What were they thinking? People asked for the recipe.
This dish was fairly good. I only added about half of the peas and placed the stuffing on top of the dish when serving it so it wasn't so mushy.
This is GROSS I will never make this again! Family kids would not eat it and I could barely choke it down. The way the recipe is the stuffing turns out soggy,YUCK!!!
I was concerned about how the Italian dressing and turkey gravy were going to taste together, but the mixture was phenomenal! I made this with Herb and Butter Rice rather than stuffing (we'd just had stuffing the night before) and it was also complimentary. Next time I'll make it with the stuffing just for a change!
followed the recipe to a T and the girls loved it. i was excited because they are picky eaters.
It was alright, kind of bland. Added carrots with the peas which was delicious.
