I didn't use the tomato paste or the tomato dressing. I used Hunts Zesty and Spicy sauce, and used a turkey italian sausage. It really turned out well and my family loved it!

If I make this again I am more than likely going to use spaghetti sauce instead of tomato paste. I just wasnt a huge fan of the taste.

if you replace the sauce with the Roasted Red Pepper it helps give a bit of a kick

I found that there wasn't enough sauce for the recipe, so I ended up adding tomato sauce and some italian seasonings. Everyone in my family enjoyed it, but I would suggest using a jar of spaghetti or making some adjustments to the recipe yourself!

This was very good and very easy to make. I don't give too many recipes five stars. This one earned it though. Since none of the other ingredients are that expensive, I recommend using a high-quality Italian sausage. Try going to your local meat mart.

I loved the flavor of this recipe, however, i needed to double the amount of tomato paste and the dressing because it wasnt nearly enough. I also added a can of diced stewed tomatoes along with some oregano, basil, garlic, salt and pepper - since the stewed tomatoes i added were not seasoned. I will definitly make this one again!
