Sausage and Tomato Rigatoni

Rigatoni is named for the stripes on the noodles. Serve up this classic Italian sausage, pasta and tomato dish and earn yours.

What You Need

cups rigatoni, uncooked

lb. Italian sausage, cut into chunks

red onion, sliced

1/4

cup tomato paste

1/4

cup KRAFT Sun Dried Tomato Vinaigrette Dressing

1/4

cup chopped fresh parsley

1/4

cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Make It

COOK pasta as directed on package.

MEANWHILE, cook sausage in large nonstick skillet on medium heat until evenly browned, stirring occasionally. Drain; return to skillet. Stir in onions and tomato paste; cover. Cook 15 min. or until onions are tender and sausage is done, stirring occasionally. Stir in dressing.

DRAIN pasta; place in large bowl. Add sausage mixture; mix lightly. Top with parsley and cheese.

I've made this again and again and again. It's my hubby's favorite dinner. *note* great reheated, just add a little more dressing before nuking!

My husband and I loved this recipe! I added extra paste and dressing to this and had plenty of sauce. I did make the whole box of pasta and had a ton left over, so next time I'll make half a box. Very yummy!

Didn't like the tomato flavor of it - maybe wouldn't use the tomato dressing and tomato paste. Not sure how to change it but it was edible, not great.

At first try, I made it a little too dry. But it was very tasty, so I tried again with a little more sauce, and it came out great. Vary the sausage for the season and it becomes a versitile dish!

I think I tried another recipe just like this one...something about the sausage just doesn't translate for me.

Delicious. I added extra paste and salad dressing to make it a little less dry and I didn't use an entire onion either. Really easy to make and tastes wonderful. I recommend adding salt and pepper to taste before tossing in parsley and cheese.

I made this last night and everybody loved it! Will definitely make again. Very kid friendly.
