Yuck!! Jello too strong...
I thought it would have a lighter Jell-O flavor but it was still pretty potent and I even added extra whipped cream. My husband like it a lot. He said it was very fluffy and light, a good change from regular Jell-O.
Didn't turn out as described, nor did it look like the picture but it was still a foamy frothy treat and the kids loved it.
It was really easy to make and taste really good i think next time i would sub. the cold water for a cold juice to add some more flavor
I loved this recipe... I substituted Cool Whip Free for the Cool Whip Lite to save a few calories. It tasted good, (kind of like sherbert), it was fast and easy to make, and definitely did not taste low calorie. I have made it three times in the past 9 days!!!!
All I can say is YUMMY!!!
My daughter absolutely loves this dessert! It has a wonderful flavor and you can substitute any flavor of jello. The only thing that I may change next time, is that I may use two boxes of jello (double the amount of boiling water) and use one 8 oz. container of cool-whip. That way you will end up with more jello on the bottom. At least that is what I hope will happen. I'll let you know.
I've been making this for years. I like this so much because it's simple, quick to prepare, and it's a nice departure from 'plain ol' jello' for dessert. I've tried this with many other jello flavors, and they're all great. I've made this with ice cream, too, and it comes out like a fruit mousse! Very nice!
I didn't really care for the taste of the whipped cream and the Jello...I prolly won't make it again.
The flavor was very good and creamy, but it didn't seperate, any suggestion on how to get it to seperate would be appreicated.
