I've made this twice now. It really tastes good but I can't get it to layer like it's supposed to. Not sure why - I made sure I followed the directions exactly. I'll try doing it a little different next time. Either way I'll continue to make it b/c it's good.

This desert is simply marvelous. It's cheap and easy and the whole family loves it. When I make it I use only sugar-free Jello and Cool Whip Free. I've tried it with Strawberry (wonderful) Peach (not so good) Mixed Berry (so-so) and Lime (very good). There is one trick to getting equal layers of each and that is to make it in straight sided dishes. If the dish has a curve of any kind you will get less of the bottom layer. The more curve, the less bottom layer.

This was very light and really good. It reminded me of what an ice deli (or shaved ice) tastes like. Mine did not separate like in the picture but it still tasted just fine.

Yummy and so nice to look at! I made them in pastel colors for Easter lunch. I made 12 for 8 people and they were all gone!

I remember buying these in pre-packed boxes that Kraft sold as "Jello 1-2-3" (hence the name). I was disappointed when they quit selling them and was soo excited to find this recipe. I absolutely love these!

It was nice and easy to make, and you can do your own changes. I used homemade strawberry-pureed (with a splash of rum) sorbet instead of ice cubes. And Lemon-lime soda instead of water. Worked out great, it adds a little kick to it!

This is such a fun, easy snack! My grandkids think the different colored layers are "magic" - I just love the smiles we share when making and eating it! Try this one!
