What You Need

lb. ground beef

jar (26 oz.) spaghetti sauce

cups water

cups medium-size pasta shapes, any variety, uncooked

can (15 oz.) kidney beans, drained, rinsed

medium onion, chopped

1/3

cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese, divided

Tbsp. chili powder

Make It

BROWN meat in large saucepan; drain.

ADD spaghetti sauce, water, pasta, beans, onions, 1/4 cup of the cheese and the chili powder; stir. Cover; cook on medium heat 10 to 12 min. or until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally.

SPRINKLE with the remaining cheese just before serving.

Substitute

Prepare as directed, substituting 1 lb. Italian sausage for the ground beef and/or cannellini beans for the kidney beans.

Make it Easy

Omit meat, spaghetti sauce, beans, onions and chili powder. Cook 2 cans (15 oz. each) chili, with or without beans, in large skillet on medium heat until heated through, stirring occasionally. Add pasta, water and 1/4 cup of the cheese; stir. Cover; cook 10 to 12 min. or until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese just before serving.

Wow! The easiest and most delicious chili recipe ever!!! I made the following additions: seasoned the meat with various spices, added a can of diced tomatoes(seasoned with basil, garlic and oregano), added a can of corn and peppers, used half and onion, cooked the pasta separately and used a 23.5 oz jar of Prego Chunky Garden Tomato, Onion and Garlic. It was so good! I am definately going to keep this as a winter staple!

My family loves this chili! I use shredded chedder cheese and sour cream, it is so good.

This was a fabulous meal. I needed something good but hearty and kid friendly too. Everyone loved it and there was barely any clean up. A definate one pan wonder and family favorite.

great, but if you use macaroni use just 1 cup

Very simple to make. It was enjoyed by everyone. I kicked up the spice a bit with some red pepper.
