We (my fiance & I) thought it was good although a little bland. It needs more seasonings.
This was very tasty! I didn't use a crockpot. I cooked the chicken in the dressing and then added all ingredients to the same pot, but I used 2 (8 oz) cans of tomatoes instead of just 2 cups. and put it in the oven, covered, for 4 hours. I will definitely make this again.
I did not cook the chicken first, I added everything to the crop pot and left it cooking for 5 hours and it came out very delicious. I used tomatoe soup instead of the canned crashed tomatoe. Myfamily loved it.
Loved this recipe. It's quick and easy to get started in the morning and great to come home from work to a cooked meal. I used deboned chicken thighs and found that the recommended cooking time was shortened. Delicious over angel hair pasta with Parmesan cheese!
I did make it once with the Italian dressing, it was ok, but not like I thought it would be. Then I made it again without it. I cut down on the amount, cause I have a smaller family. Also, I used tomato soup instead of crushed tomatoes, with a little water, lemon juice and worcestershire sauce and thyme, and served it with noodles instead of rice.
