I made this and well I was a little dissappointed I will probably make this next time with shredded cheese so it will melt faster and I will probably use the taco bell taco mix with cooked onion next time. Every one else liked this also we had left overs 'cause it was only 3 people that I cooked for the first night I made this we heated up left over the next day. I also served it with sour cream but to me it needed an extra punch so I tried ranch dressing it did add just a little something...
I liked this recipe, but I baked them instead. I also served them with salsa and guacamole in addition to the sour cream. Next time I will use more cheese!!!!
I am a super fan for Mexican and these were great! They were actually very easy to make and everyone in my family enjoyed them. I will be making more again very soon!
We weren't a big fan of the velvetta in these. Next time I make it, I'll switch to real cheese and add onions and green peppers.
My family loved this recipe. I have also tried it with chicken. I put it in the crock pot with a little water and two packages of taco mix. Then made it as the recipe said. It was a hit. I made it for a party and it was a BIG hit.
I used chicken in place of the beef and rather than deep fat fry them i baked them in the oven for 8-13 minutes. I sprayed them with a little cooking spray and put them in the oven at 425 degrees. That way it also cuts down somewhat on the oil and grease.
The problem I had with this recipe was that I could taste the oil really bad. It was way to greasy and it lacked some flavor so all you could taste was the oil
I couldn't make this recipe! The fat and calorie content is disgusting!!! No way!! Not in less I didnt want to eat all day!!!
This was a hit! Even the kids liked it. It is now a staple at our house! Thanks
YUMMMY!!!!! Our family loved it. I will definitely make this again
