We've said it before—less is more. And it doesn't get any simpler than these better-for-you Parmesan and balsamic-topped tomatoes, toasted on the grill.

My family like tomatoes in any form - this receipe will make everyone very happy again at our next BBQ. Actually I always make 8 servings because they're really good as well on a sandwich later in the day. Thanks

I'VE BEEN MAKING SIMILAR TOMATOES FOR YEARS. I USUALLY RUB CUT SURFACE IN OLIVE OIL, THEN I ADD SEASONED BREADCRUMBS, FRESH BASIL, AND GRATED PECORINO ROMANO CHEESE. TO MAKE IT XTRA SPECIAL, I ALSO ADD SOM MOZZARELLA AT THE END OF BAKING TIME. GREAT HIT WITH GUESTS

This is a great recipe and very easy! I used lite caesar dressing, lite cheddar, and tomatoe basil garlic Mrs. Dash to top the tomatoes and baked them in the oven instead of on the grill.

I made this because I was looking for a different and colorful side to serve with my meal. My husband and I absolutely loved them. On a few tomatoes, I added some shredded mozzarella cheese to see if that tasted good. It does. We love tomatoes, and we love this recipe! So quick and easy too.

Had it at a party, but sliced and broiled instead. Everyone loved them.

I liked the italian dressing flavor. it cooked a lot faster than the time stated even on lower temperature for me. you need to check it every so often because for me the cheese was bubbling so much that it started to fall off the tomatoes some. I don't like tomatoes but everyone in my family did but everyone who bit into them had tomato juice squirting everywhere, even onto the counters so I'm not sure if I should make the slices smaller next time

This recipe was an absolute hit! No left over here. I followed the directions exactly. Some of my friends made the comment that they recently purchased this an an appetizer at a very fancy restaurant but mine tasted better! This recipe is saved as a favorite & I will be using again in the near future!

Since I was making these for the first time, I do according to recipe using oven. They turned out great! I'm sure I will be making them for years to come.

I was a bit worried how it would turn out... well, me & my bf really liked it! It's so easy & tasty! We just picked tomatoes from our garden, but those tomatoes were big, and it needed about 30 mins.to cook. Otherwise the taste will be just like fresh tomatoes & dressings & cheese! As the recipe says, "til it looks brown/cooked outside of the tomatoes".
