This is a very easy recipe. My son said it is the very best food in the world -- it was his very first pork chop! Hint: If you forgot to buy the Catalina dressing (like I did), just use 3 tablespoons ketchup, add 1/2 teaspoon onion salt and 3 tablespoons water and it turns out great. I also subbed in a chicken boullion cube and 1 cup water for the can of chicken broth.

I used chicken. It turned out very tender, but the Catalina dressing made the rice pink, and that was not very appetizing. I didn't use the peppers, as they were almost $2 each at the grocery. This is not a recipe I would try again.

Husband loved this recipe and he's not big on one pot dishes. As previous comment suggested, I also added garlic powder directly to meat before browning. Didn't have any instant rice so used orzo pasta instead and simmered 10 minutes, then let stand for 5 minutes. Turned out great!

The pork chops had no flavor. The sauce was good, but the rice did not absorb all of the liquid, it was too juicy. I think the pork chops need to simmer longer than 5-10 minutes in order to get the flavor of the sauce.

I loved this tasty dish! My husband thought my mom prepared it! It was simple to prepare and I was able to finish it after a long and exhausting day at work. I sent the recipe to my sisters and they all agreed...this is a tasty dish! Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication to taking the guess work out of, "what's for dinner dear".

This was a nice tasty change for pork chops - my picky eater didn't care for it. Mom of 3 boys

I made this recipe with chicken breasts and it was delicious. I will make it again and again and will also try it with pork.
