This was a good recipe. The meat was a little dry and I will experiment by maybe marinating the meat a little longer for desired tenderness. However, my family loved the rice and the sweet and sour flavor.
This dish is easy to make and tastes great.
I will marinate the pork chops in pineapple juice, some garlic powder, and dried chilli peppers the night before. then make as directed.
I loved this recipe, however I did make some changes. First of all, I used boneless chicken breasts cut up into big pieces instead of pork chops. I also substituted one can of chunk pineapple with one can of crushed. I added a little powdered cayenne pepper to give it more spice. I also added a little more chicken broth and brown rice. The chicken was a little bland. Maybe next time I will marinate it before cooking. I'm still eating leftovers from it even though all the chicken is now gone because that was my husband's favorite part and the leftovers are yummy!
The recipe overall was good, but my husband suggested that I should make again but with Chicken and cut it into pieces instead of keeping it whole. I may make again, with that change.
I was scared at first but it tasted great and my husband finally liked something I cooked him! He definetly wants me to make this again!
This is a great meal. great flavor and really easy to make. I will do this again and invite some friends over. I make steamed broccoli on the side and really complemented the meal
It didnt have much flavor but will make again with some changes
Bland. I salt and peppered the chops. Garlic helped but it needed something else. The pineapple was my favorite part. I wanna try with chicken like others have said.
This was quick, simple to make and I had all of the fixings in the house. I have used both the chops and the chicken and the family loved it.
