Good recipe - quick and easy to make. I added about 1/3 cup peanuts which, in my opinion, added a lot to the dish. Next time I make this meal, I will add some soy sauce to kick up the flavor a bit.

I would like to try it with Chicken breast halves. I added a little crushed red pepper to give it a little heat. It was good.

It tasted OK, but not special enough to make again.

Used some seasoning salt and additional garlic powder to up the flavor while browning then placed in my pressure cooker for 5 additional minutes to get the meat really tender. Then used the juices to make the rice. Still took less than 20 minutes and Everyone LOVED it!

Instead of using whole pork chops I cut them into chunks. I omitted the instant rice and instead served it over white rice. My husband and son loved it. They said it smells even better than it tastes.

I have made the dish numerous times and definately crush pineapple is much better than the chunks. We prefer the meat cut into but sized pieces versus the chops. Also serve with Chow Mein noodles add nice texture to the dish.
