it's a great recipe.. i did some minor adjustments such as adding 8 Oz of Kraft Philadelphia cream cheese to the filling and it added a interesting richness to it. My latest experiment i also added a 8 Oz Philadelphia indulgence Milk chocolate Cream Cheese and it works as well giving it a chocolate taste but not overpowering.

This was a hit and easy! I made one for my hubby for valentines and the extra cake (from the same mix) was used to make a second one to give away to friends. It was great! the choc. topping is easy and the filling as well! very easy yet "gorgeous" presentation! Just be patient and let the cake cool completely and it will slice as directed easily! Will make again soon!

Have made this excellent recipe several times. Have used CoolWhip and real whipped cream, and once had neither so just used 2 boxes of pudding- always good. I do use French vanilla pudding when available and add a few drops vanilla or dark rum to choc icing. Just made for tomorrow's Valentine dinner- cut 11x13 cake into heart shape before slicing... so pretty and romantic!
