I made this for my brothers b-day and it was a hit! So simple and beautiful. My frosting didn't turn out as thick, it was more runny, but it turned out great ... it dripped down the sides of the cake and when it was cooled down it was glossy and very smooth on top. Definite do again recipe!

I made this desert for extended family and all loved it. I used applesauce in the cake mix re the oil, and used fat free, sugar free pudding to make it healthier and more set up for diabetics. Also used fat free cool whip so was a weight watchers delight. Great receipe and so so so so easy!

Totally easy and looks impressive, like a previous reviewer stated. The icing was thinner than I expected, but I just poured it slowly onto the center of the cake and then used a spatula to smooth it out on the edges. It dripped down onto the sides in a few places, but it still looked great. My hubby said, "I think I've found a new favorite dessert!" Can't wait to make it again.

My husband loved this recipe, as did my parents. I would make this again for company. I did not frost the entire top of the cake, I just melted chocolate chips and drizzled it over it. Goes great with coffee!
