After reading others ratings, I started by sauteeing the carrots, onion and celery in about 2 Tbls. of garlic oil for more flavor, I did increase the good seasons to 2 pkgs. I also used a savoy cabbage. I thought is was very tasty. I may try using some chopped ham in it next time.

It was just okay. . .healthy and good for you but not spectacular.

Used the stovetop instead of microwave. Didn't have green onion on hand so I sauteed yellow onion in a little butter first. Added frozen corn after I mashed the potatoes. A little chopped cilantro garnish would have been good too. The soup was a huge hit at my house! I highly recommend it. - Enjoy

Very Good. I made this twice, the first time I made this with diced tomato in cans, but the second time I made this with can crushed tomato. mw

Made this soup for my family and it was a big hit. I used canned green beans instead of frozen and used the two envelopes of Good Seasons and it was very tasty. I will definitely make again.

I didn't taste it just how this recipe is. I added parsley flakes, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Also, if you like a little bit of spice, add some cayenne pepper! Very good! Will definitely make again!

This is and excellent, easy recipe. I make it often. Everyone enjoys it, even if you don't like cabbage it is still great.

I did add seasonings, as others suggested, and one cup of brown rice. For seasoning, I added another seasoning packet and about one tablespoon of hot sauce. The whole family raved about it - even the kids ate the vegetables. Will be a great winter soup! (Made it in August in Florida - what was I thinking!)
