This is a very hearty soup! I did change some of the ingredients which improved the taste. I used 6 cups of cabbage, only 4 cups of water, 1T. parsley flakes, 1 1/2 t. Mrs. Dash, 2-14oz. cans Italian tomatoes, & sauted the celery & onion in 2T. olive oil until slightly tender.
