This soup is almost addictive. I brought some to work and the gals there kept going back for more. Plus, it is low in fat and packed with veggies. I added some fresh spinach and used sugar snap peas instead of green beans. It's a keeper.

I have always found that when all else fails, good old fashioned salt and pepper make great add in's for a bland soup. Make sure it is added during the cooking process.

After reading all of the reviews and making this recipe I will agree this Soup was bland but after adding more Italian dressing from the bottle and some garlic and pepper, It was good. My kids ate the cabbage (something I never thought would happen).

I made this soup and it did not have hardly any flavor at all, although I love the veggies that are in it. I added about 12oz of V8 and some Tabasco sauce and that helped give it some flavor. I would like to make it again and would appreciate some other add-in ideas!

My family absolutely loved this recipe. I've even added a little rice or noodles to it. A very quick and easy recipe with a lot of nutrition!!
