This recipe is a great spin on traditional strawberry shortcake. I made this cake for my dad's birthday last night and it was a huge hit. Super easy to make, but it looks like it came from a bakery. Next time I think I'll use blueberries with the strawberries.

This was great. I've tried other recipies for a strawberry shortcake but none were as good as this one. I plan on making this again soon.

I grew up eatting the pre made sponge cake cups for shortcake and never liked it when people made the biscuts w/ baking mix. They were always to hard and not sweet enough. I loved this! It was sweet & the leftovers were just as good. I already told my mom and grandma about this receipe. I will make this again very soon.

I think by substituting : no fat sour cream Splenda lite cool whip sugar-fat free pudding would be a very good idea.

I made this for our BBQ, and everyone loved it. Great presentation! Looks so hard, but is oh so easy!!! I had enough left over to bring in to work. Once again, everyone was wow'ed! I used a spring pan instead of a 9 in. baking pan. Just a little easier.

it's very easy to make, the shortcake comes out crispy outside but moist inside, it's very light and refreshing. My daughters love it!!
