The miracle part is not just a nod to the secret ingredient in the velvety cheese sauce. It's also the fact that everyone in the family will dig right into fresh asparagus.

This is the only way I can get my husband to eat asparagus!

Perhaps I just had something different in mind, but the sauce was SO mild it might as well not have been there. I'd like a cheese sauce with more "umph".

I was very skeptical at first about making this. The sound of making a cheesy sauce out of mayo didnt sound very yummy but I was WRONG its awesome!!! =) I loved it and my hubby did too!! Will definitely make again!

After seeing some of the reviews, I wasn't so sure about this recipe. I had it on the side, just in case. Well, everyone really loved it. I added about 1/4 cup more cheese, but I think it would have been fine on its own. I cut up the asparagus and added some frozen corn, and everyone just put the cheese sauce on top. I would definitely make this again.

A much better/healthier way to cook the asparagus is to steam it for 2-3 min and serve it with caesar dressing , lemon juice and garlic.

I dont really care for Mayo or Miracle Whip so when I make it I will try using 1/2 sour cream and 1/2 mayo. That really makes a difference when I make potato salad
