The miracle part is not just a nod to the secret ingredient in the velvety cheese sauce. It's also the fact that everyone in the family will dig right into fresh asparagus.

Used regular Mayo for this and it was delicious. Also put it over broccoli and cauliflower, terrific!

The sauce was a little different but good, the fresh asparagus didn't look good so I got frozen so that could have altered the taste a little bit. I enjoyed but my husband wasn't to fond of it. May make again.

This recipe was quite good, even when tweeked. I made this for my husband, and the sauce was on top of broccoli. Since he like his sauces to be very thick and creamy, instead of using a 1/4 of milk, I used a 1/4 cup of half and half cream. Also, I used sharp white chedder cheese and sprinkled in some dill weed, which made it flavorful and added some depth to the recipe. I'll definately use this recipe again.

This was very yummy, although the sauce was a tad strange. I did about 2 pounds of asparagus (I have a teenager) and so I cooked them for about 7 minutes, and they were perfect - I never thought to microwave them before! I didn't have Miracle Whip, so I used light mayonnaise, and jack cheese because I didn't have cheddar. Overall very yummy, will definitely make again.

i used the sauce on top of steamed brocolli, and it was great. Very fast, simple, and delicious. Would work as an easy substitute for hollindaise sauce.

I love asparagus and thought that the sauce added a nice, delicate flavor. Also, cooking asparagus in the microwave was so easy! I had never tried that before.

I think this would be better with regular mayo. The miracle whip adds a weird tang.
