Bruschetta Minute Steaks

OK, so these take more than a minute to make, but they're so worth the (still short) wait. If you like steak—and bruschetta—you're going to love these.

What You Need

Tbsp. oil

thin boneless beef minute steaks (1-1/2 lb.), 1/4 inch thick

large tomatoes, chopped

yellow pepper, finely chopped

1/4

cup KRAFT Zesty Italian Dressing

pkg. (6 oz.) STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Chicken, prepared as directed on package

cup KRAFT Shredded Low-Moisture Part-Skim Mozzarella Cheese

Make It

HEAT oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add steaks; cook 1 min. on each side or until lightly browned on both sides. Meanwhile, combine tomatoes, peppers and dressing.

SPOON tomato mixture over steaks; top with stuffing and cheese. Cover.

SIMMER on medium-low heat 3 to 5 min. or until cheese is melted and steak is cooked to medium doneness (160°F).

Special Extra

Stir 1/3 cup chopped fresh basil into tomato mixture.

Substitute

Substitute 6 small boneless skinless chicken breast halves or 1/4-inch thick boneless pork chops (1-1/2 lb.) for the steaks. Increase cooking time to 4 min. on each side until meat is done.

I loved it, my boyfriend though it was OK. He said the tomato's and the stuffing didn't go well together. I used the can tomato's and used a can and a half, which you probably got have gotten away with just one can. The pepper was great and the steaks took no time to make.

My husband is a meat and potatoes kind of guy and he LOVED this receipe. He was also very impressed with the presentation. I used a little thicker steaks and cooked them longer before adding toppings. Will definitely make again!

I used pork chops instead of minute steaks. My family loved it. I would like to have some suggestions on what to fix as a side dish with this meal.

I thought the bruschetta steaks were very good, but my husband picked the peppers off. He thought there was too much on top of the meat.

For a fiance that is a picky eater, he loved it! I myself thought it was delicious! For the side item, I made the mini new potato bites. They went great together.
