Sweet BBQ Chicken Kabobs

Sweet BBQ Chicken Kabobs recipe
These better-for-you BBQ chicken kabobs have an island vibe going on. Think OJ, fresh pineapple and peppers. Now all you need is a drink with an umbrella.

My family loves this recipe. Not only is it quick and light it is fun to make with the kids. They enjoy putting the skewers together and they love the taste!

It's not that this necessarily tasted bad, it just wasn't what I anticipated. It pretty much tasted like orange juice on chicken, honestly. I think the ratio of the concentrate is too high, personally. I like the idea of adding the juice, but I would probably have to change this recipe a lot to get it to "sweet" bbq and not just "OJ" bbq haha :)

I made this recipe on a rainy day so it was made in my oven. Cooked the same amount of time. Came out wonderful! This is one recipe I will make over and over again.

We've made these three times in the past two weeks! The only thing we changed was we used orange juice instead of orange concentrate. It wasn't too orange flavored. Perfect!

I have made this recipe twice and it's really delicious. The pineapples are a perfect combination with the chicken. I cooked this on the grill and it was a big hit with the family and some friends.

I also forgot to note that I used vidalia onion instead of green pepper:)

Made these for Fathers Day get together and everybody loved them. I substituted lean pork for the chicken and it was delicious.

Easy and Yummy. Great for busy weeknight dinners. Get ready the night before and grill at dinner time.

Didn't really care for it. The orange flavor really overpowered the BBQ sauce. Maybe it would be better with just orange juice instead of the concentrate? Not sure I'll bother with this one again.
