What You Need

cans (8 oz. each) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls, divided

pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

tsp. vanilla

egg, slightly beaten

3/4

cup sugar, divided

Tbsp. ground cinnamon

Enjoy serving MAXWELL HOUSE coffee with this delicious recipe.

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Unroll 1 of the cans of crescent dough. Press onto bottom of greased 13x9-inch baking pan to form crust, firmly pressing seams together to seal.

BEAT cream cheese, vanilla, egg and 1/2 cup of the sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Spread onto crust.

UNROLL remaining can of crescent dough onto large sheet of wax paper. Pat out dough to form 13x9-inch rectangle, pressing seams together to seal. Invert over cream cheese mixture to form top crust; discard wax paper.

BAKE 30 to 35 min. or until golden brown. Combine remaining 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon in small bowl; sprinkle over squares before cutting.

Only, I added 1/2 teaspoon Almond extract and used 1 teaspoon nutmeg instead of the cinnamon, and used powdered sugar instead of granular/regular sugar and topped it with dusting of powdered sugar. Superb! Was the hit of 15-family the meal!!!

I agree with kmpaullin that 2TB cinnamon was way too much. I'm going to try 2 tsp. next time and may try putting it on before baking. I took it to a church event and it was a hit. I love these one-pan recipes that you can cut into as many pieces as you need. Delicious!

Made this but omitted egg in the cream cheese layer then sprinkled chopped pecans over creamy layer before topping with crescents, then I melted 1 stick of butter (or less) to pour over top of crescents, then sprinkled less than 1/4 c. sugar and 1 t. cinnamon then baking. it was awesome! (hint, spread second crescent out on foil or wax paper and transfer over cream cheese)

YUMMMMMMYYYYY!!!! it was easy. the only part that made it a little hard was putting the top on it but that was easy too just a little sticky. but the taste was soooooo scrumptious! it was soooo good it was gone by the end of the night and this was just with my family not a party. i like to bake when i find a recipe that looks great and has great reviews :) a must try for sure ! )

This is such a quick and easy receipe. We have a large family and everyone loves it. It is moist and light and delicious with coffee!
