What You Need

cans (8 oz. each) refrigerated crescent dinner rolls, divided

pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

tsp. vanilla

egg, slightly beaten

3/4

cup sugar, divided

Tbsp. ground cinnamon

Enjoy serving MAXWELL HOUSE coffee with this delicious recipe.

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Unroll 1 of the cans of crescent dough. Press onto bottom of greased 13x9-inch baking pan to form crust, firmly pressing seams together to seal.

BEAT cream cheese, vanilla, egg and 1/2 cup of the sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Spread onto crust.

UNROLL remaining can of crescent dough onto large sheet of wax paper. Pat out dough to form 13x9-inch rectangle, pressing seams together to seal. Invert over cream cheese mixture to form top crust; discard wax paper.

BAKE 30 to 35 min. or until golden brown. Combine remaining 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon in small bowl; sprinkle over squares before cutting.

Made this for work and everybody loved them. Will make again! Easy to make, i felt guilty because everyone thought it was some fancy italian pastry and it was sooo easy to make. love love love

This is the absolute best recipe! I have made this maybe twenty times and have given this recipe out to almost every single person who has eaten it!!Just last Sunday I made two trays for my mother to take to a church luncheon. I have to make about twenty copies of the recipe for her to take this week!! I teach Home Ec and my 5th and 6th graders made this in a forty minute class! They loved it as did all of the teachers and janitors and visitors who passed by the kitchen, not to mention it has become my husbands favorite which is fine with me --SO EASY. If you use the 50% larger crescent rolls, simply unroll and they fit perfectly in the pan!! Thanks for a great recipe!!

I've made this recipe several times using reduced fat crescent rolls and fat free cream cheese. No one can tell the difference and they taste great!

Delicious and easy. Everyone request I bring this to family get togethers. I drizzle a powdered sugar glaze on top, my family has a major sweet tooth!

As with the other commentors, my squares did not turn out as tall as the pictures. This recipe was easy to prepare. They tasted good, but maybe a touch greasy from the cresent rolls.
