This is the best recipe that I have gotten from this site. I used turkey pepperoni instead of the salami. I also added green bell pepper. This was a hit at my house!

I was not a big fan of Pasta Salad,I am now and so is my husband. Made this for a family party and got many positive comments. However, since we can't purchase crumbles in this area, I had to use regular italian shredded cheese. Still, super summer recipe.

I also prefer this recipe with pepperoni or genoa salami rather than hard salami, and cut into small chunks rather than sliced. This is a great basic pasta salad recipe and fun to tweak to your families preferences...or what's on hand in the pantry or garden. Try experimenting with different types of pasta..my family loves mini cheese ravioli as an option. Same goes for the cheese..we love fresh mozzarella in bite size pieces, but fresh parmesan or romano adds another dimension of flavor; and no one says you can have only one kind of cheese. Almost always add a little red onion and lots of garden fresh basil is a must.

As is I didn't care for it much. I made it with pepperoni, ham, tomatoes, olives, bacon and diced red onion. For dressing I used Kraft Caesar and sprinkled grated parmesan and mozzarlla cheese on top

I used pepperoni instead of salami and Feta Cheese instead of the cheese crumbles. It was absolutely delicious!! Fast and easy to prepare. Good to eat warm or cold.

I substituted pepperoni for the hard salami. I couldn't find cheese crumbles so I just cut mozzerella cheese up into cubes. It was a hit.

I haven't made this particular recipe but for 25 years have made a similar one that I'm always adjusting to what's on hand. My main change - add lots and lots of chopped vegetables - broccoli, cauliflower, sweet peppers, marinated artichoke hearts, carrots, cucumbers or zucchini, onions or green onions, and then if you use grape tomatoes they won't get mushy like chopped ones do if you make it ahead or have leftovers.

I have made this numerous times for family barbeques and it is always a hit.
