This was VERY good! I'll definitely play with the ingredients in the future to make a more custom pizza!
I would not subsitute dry bay leaves for the fresh. I will most likely leave them out next time. Other wise it was really good. I added black olives to it and it really added to the pizza flavor!!!!
This recipe is simply AMAZING! It is the perfect cold pasta salad for a hot summer day. I added grilled chicken and yellow and red peppers to it, which made it a meal all by itself. The flavors blend so well together, and it is better the colder it is.
I thought this recipe was great for summer, when I always feel like eating salads and cold foods. I couldn't find mozzarella crumbles, so I sliced string cheese, which is what I usually do for regular pasta salads. I'm not sure how this recipe would turn out served hot, because it seems like the cheese would melt when mixed with hot pasta?!?! But it is great served cold. The longer you refridgerate, the better it tastes.
For those of who cannot find the salad dressing, they have it at Super Walmart.
This is the BEST recipe! I made it for a work potluck (at a department store), and shared some with a Bride that was getting her makeup done that was hungry. She told me she would have served it at her wedding! I was told by coworkers that it was "like heaven on earth". I used one 28oz. can of petite diced tomotoes, 8oz. shredded block mozzarella cheese, 1T dried basil, and 1 8oz bottle of Kraft Zesty Italian dressing and pepperoni with the entire 1lb box of penne pasta. If you make this recipe you will be a star at any potluck.
I made this recipe for a Fouth of July BBQ/potluck. Everyone loved it!
I have made this a few times and I just love it! Great recipe!
This was absolutely amazing!! My 5 kids loved it too!!! This will be a regular on our menu!!
Loved all the flavors. Thought it was dry and ended up using more dressing than called for.
