I made this for the Fourth of July weekend. Everyone in the family loved it. I did add one ingredient......a jar of hot fudge ice cream topping on top of the pudding layer. My family likes chocolate and I thought a "banana split" should have some. It was a delicious addition! I did not warm up the fudge, just spooned it on cold.

I hear the choir of harps now! What an amazing dessert. I'm in Heaven! Absolutely delicious. I changed the recipe slightly by making it more low fat, using light and fat free cream cheese, low-fat graham crackers, 3/4 cup of nuts instead, and fat free cool whip. Wonderful dessert. (7 points for 12 slices for you WeightWatcher people out there). Yay to Kraftfoods. You've made me happy.

The banana split cake was fabulous! I put it in two pie tins. One for our Fourth of July picnic and one for our neighbors the next night. My eleven year old granddaughter also wanted to drizzle chocolate syrup on the top before serving. It was just perfect and my son does not even like bananas. Will definately make it again.

I used to make a cake of the same name but it called for eggs and you had to beat them forever...this is so much better..I did add some more curshed pineapple tho......but it is excellent

Very very good. I had a couple of my friends ask me if I would share my recipe. My husband who only has a small slice of dessert had 3 slices, and told me not to lose the recipe. Everyone went crazy over it. will make again and again.

I made this recipe for my July 1st picnic. It was a big hit everyone loved it. So I made it again for my family.

This was great and a hit at a birthday party... the only this is though it was kind of a soupy mess - there was no way it was staying in a square. Any ideas on what I did wrong? Also next time I won't use the foil lining it picked up with the cake! It was still all devoured though!! Great, easy dessert!

I lightened this recipe by using nonfat cream cheese, nonfat coolwhip, and nonfat, no sugar vanilla pudding. I also omitted the nuts because most of my family is allergic to tree nuts. And the concensus, from 2 yr olds to 74 yr olds was WOW! It was delicious! The pineapple makes this sweet. It is already a family favorite.
