Banana Split "Cake"

What You Need

HONEY MAID Honey Grahams, crushed (about 1-1/2 cups)

cup sugar, divided

1/3

cup butter, melted

pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple in juice, drained

bananas, divided

pkg. (3.4 oz. each) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding

cups cold milk

cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, divided

cup chopped PLANTERS Pecans

Enjoy serving MAXWELL HOUSE coffee with this delicious recipe.

Make It

MIX crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar and butter; press onto bottom of 13x9-inch pan. Freeze 10 min.

BEAT cream cheese and remaining sugar with mixer until well blended. Spread carefully over crust; top with pineapple. Slice 4 bananas; arrange over pineapple.

BEAT pudding mixes and milk with whisk 2 min. until well blended. Stir in 1 cup COOL WHIP; spread over banana layer in pan. Top with remaining COOL WHIP. Refrigerate 5 hours. Slice remaining 2 bananas just before serving; arrange over dessert. Top with nuts.

Substitute 1-1/2 cups HONEY MAID Graham Cracker Crumbs for the crushed grahams.

Variation

I first made this recipe at Thanksgiving in 2005, and instantly, it was a HUGE hit!! My boyfriend requested it again a couple of weeks later. My friend loves it, as well She sits around and wait the whole time until it's ready! It has become a regular item in my household now. Needless to say, I'm preparing it this year for Christmas as well!! Thanks a bunch!!!

Delicious! Everyone raves a/b this and wants the recipe. I add maraschino cherries in and on top. I also add coconut. I've added chocolate at times also. I just wish the crust wouldn't mess up when I spread the cream cheese on top of it. Messy but nobody notices.

LOVE IT. I SPRINKLED LEMON JUICE ON TOP OF THE BANANAS SO THEY WON'T TURN BROWN AND ADDED VANILLA FLAVOR IN THE CREAM CHEESE MIX AND CURSHED NUTS (WALNUTS) IN THE CRUST. NOW, I'M ASKED TO MAKE THIS ON A REGULAR BASIS. THIS IS SO EASY TO MAKE.

It was very tasty; however, the recipe never solidified. It was a huge gooey mess. <<< Response from Kraft Kitchens Expert, Wendy ~ You may have used Jell-O Cook & Serve Pudding instead of JELL-O Instant Pudding. Cook & Serve Pudding requires heat to thicken. >>>
