Banana Split "Cake"

What You Need

HONEY MAID Honey Grahams, crushed (about 1-1/2 cups)

cup sugar, divided

1/3

cup butter, melted

pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple in juice, drained

bananas, divided

pkg. (3.4 oz. each) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding

cups cold milk

cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, divided

cup chopped PLANTERS Pecans

Enjoy serving MAXWELL HOUSE coffee with this delicious recipe.

Make It

MIX crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar and butter; press onto bottom of 13x9-inch pan. Freeze 10 min.

BEAT cream cheese and remaining sugar with mixer until well blended. Spread carefully over crust; top with pineapple. Slice 4 bananas; arrange over pineapple.

BEAT pudding mixes and milk with whisk 2 min. until well blended. Stir in 1 cup COOL WHIP; spread over banana layer in pan. Top with remaining COOL WHIP. Refrigerate 5 hours. Slice remaining 2 bananas just before serving; arrange over dessert. Top with nuts.

Variation

I followed the directions to the tee and used all the ingredients required in the recipe. Unfortunately, when I mixed the milk and dry pudding mixes and then added the whipped topping that layer never solidfied. I would like to know why or what I did wrong for this to occur. <<< Response from Kraft Kitchens Expert, Wendy ~ You may have used Jell-O Cook & Serve Pudding instead of Jell-O Instant Pudding. Cook & Serve Pudding requires heat to thicken. >>>

This was absolutely delicious! I took to a dinner party and everyone loved it. Easy to make too. THe leftovers still take great. I will definitely make this one again & again.

This was a big hit. A little sugary for my taste, so next time I will omit the additional 1/4 cup sugar for the crust and maybe try sugar substitute for the cream cheese mixture.

I forgot the graham crackers when I shopped for this. I had vanilla wafers @ home and used those, then crumbled some on top. This is delicious!

It was sooooo good. I love bananas. Instead of 2 packages of vanilla pudding, I used 1 package of vanilla and 1 package of banana cream. Very good, and very easy to make.

It was easy to make and very good! After taking to our cottage for a long weekend, it was gone after a day and a half. If you are taking it somewhere, make sure that you have a pan with sturdy handles 'cause this dessert is really heavy. I would not make it if you needed it to last a few days, however, because the bananas turn brown and start getting oozy after a day.

I MADE THIS BANANA SPLIT CAKE AND IT WAS BETTER THAN EXCELLENT----MY HUSBAND GAVE ME A 10 FOR HOW GOOD IT WAS.
