this was my first time making mashed potatoes. it was easy and delicious. i added quite a bit of fresh ground peppercorns and sea salt to add taste. my husband couldn't guess the "secret" ingredient and it drove him nuts. he snooped around until found the evidence, but he never would have guessed it. my only suggestion is to double the recipe. this barely fed 4 of us, two of which are little kids! everyone wanted thirds!
