I have made this pie twice now and each time with a different flavor gelo. It came out really good and nice. The one we all preferred is with strawberry gelo.

The directions did not say to cool the cooked apples. When I placed the pie crust on the apples, it MELTED before I could put it into the oven. Also, the lemon jello taste was undetectable.

Made it with the Sugar Free Jell-O to cut calories and carbs. Please insert the nutrition scale with all recipes in Food and Family magazine so that we don't have to go on the web site to get that info. Thanks for a neat sweet dessert! <<< Response from Kraft Kitchens Expert, Maggie ~ The nutrition information is located in the Index at the back of the Food & Family magazine. >>>

I tried following the instructions that said to stir dry gelatin into melted butter until dissolved. I had to abandon the recipe when it burned before the gelatin dissolved! Wish I knew what went wrong!

This recipe is a keeper. My husband and three sons are the judges. I am constantly looking for new recipes and trying them out on them. This easy and wonderful tart is a 5 star in my house.

I really appreciated the easiness of this recipe, and the results were great. I thought the Lemon Jello might overpower the flavor of the apples, but the taste was very subtle. I served the tart to friends, and they were very impressed!

An easy fairly quick apple dessert. I used sugar free jello and it turned out great! Something I would suggest is not to turn the tart onto a plate until just before serving. The liquid makes the crust soggy if it sits to long.

This is a wonderful quick recipe. I will make it again and experiment with other jello flavors with the apples such as raspberrry or strawverry.
