My family really loved this recipe, although we made it with skinless boneless chicken thighs. I will definitely make it again
I used frozen, boneless, skinless chicken breasts, and cut them into two portions before cooking them. It came out great. My husband also loved this dish. Next time, I think we'll use carrot slices or sticks, and not the baby carrots. This recipe is a keeper. Easy to make, and easy to clean up! And you don't need anything fancy to make it. Try it!
My husband loved this. Takes longer to cook than recipe says but well worth it. I preboiled the carrots for about 20 minutes. Also had some mushrooms that I needed to cook so I sliced them and added them at the end for about 10 minutes. Hubby said to always add and recipe is a keeper. Great taste.
I really thought I would love this recipe but I didn't. The "sauce" was much thinner than I would have liked, and it really took much longer to cook than stated. Be sure to start your carrots first. I doubt I will make this again.
Very Good!! Even hard-to-please boyfriend enjoyed this meal! Might try with a different meat next time like pork or even shrimp.
a very quick, easy meal and tasted great to. Will make again. Did cut chicken breast into smaller pieces before cooking.
Chicken burned while heating in salad dressing. Took longer than 20 minutes to simmer. No visual appeal. Very messy. Neufchatel cheese did not melt in the broth. Overall, too much effort for a bad dinner.
This was great...a definite keeper per husband. I used home-made broth and took short cut with microwave type rice. The cheese sauce was excellant. It also freezes well for a second meal when I work late.
I made this with pork chops instead of chicken and added peas. It was delicious!
Wow! I am not what any one would call a great or even good cook, but I tried this on a whim to try and impress my husband & it worked! Very easy to prepare and fantastic flavor!
