Made this with the mashed potatoe dish in the issue as as side. Great pairing. My family loved it and I was very pleased with the taste. would never have thought to use the stove top. The sause was a lot better than i thought it would be and overall I think it was a home run.

To much stuffing tasted more bread than meat, would be better I think with italian bread crumbs, and just plain ole ground beef. Won't make it again, this way. Sauce was good

I didn't care for this, too meatloaf-ish for me, but my family loved it

I had ground beef and fresh mushrooms to use up so decided to make this. Very easy to make. Used Stove Top Savory Herbs since that's what I had on hand. It was good but I made the following changes - which made it VERY good. I cooked the patties for 20 minutes more. They were too "bready" and not browned enough at 25 min. So cook the patties for 35-45 min (line your pan with foil - no clean up). Slice the rest of that onion (used for patties) and toss it, with 1 TBSP margarine, in the mushroom-BBQ sauce. More calories and fat (not much) - but worth it. Next time I'll make a double batch of the sauce and use it to top Garlic Mashed Potatoes! Yummy.
