Had my daugher and son-in-law to dinner and served this with the greenbeans. We all liked it very much, next time will make a little more sauce to pour over top.

The "steak" part was delicious. The "gravy" was a bit sweet to my taste. Next time I think I'll cut it with something or make a substitute.

I have tried different salisbury steak recipes and this by far is my husbands favorite. He does not like it with the bbq sauce so I do a brown gravy sauce instead, but this is something the kiddo and hubby both request and I keep the ingredients on hand so I can make it when they want.

My fiancé enjoyed this dinner. I think the portions are oversized and would make more, smaller patties next time. The taste was okay, we liked the barbecue sauce, he likes the mushrooms. I might make this again, but it's not going to be a new favorite.

My family loved this simple to make recipe but I made a few changes. I made a package of brown gravy and added the 1/2 cup BBQ sauce to that then mixed it with the mushrooms. Then I placed the salisbury steaks into the pan with the sauce and mushrooms, spooned some sauce over the patties and cooked low for 5 minutes. The patties absorbed some of the gravy and the BBQ sauce taste was not as intense. I'll make this again

My husband and I loved this. Since there are just the two of us, we could enjoy it more than once.

Very good. I did make a couple changes. I added an egg and I also cooked it on the stove in beef gravy for 20 minutes. Delicious.

This was very good. I followed the direction as written but I made brown gravy instead of the BBQ sauce and left out the mushrooms (no one in the house but me likes them). My husband loves salisbury steak and said this was tasty and he'd be fine if I made it again tomorrow :)My only negative was that some of the onions ended up crunchy. Might try to saute them a little next time to soften them up just slightly.
