This is a great way to fix a meal without a lot of added expense.

Really good and easy to make. I used beef broth instead of water. I also omitted the BBQ sauce and used Heinz brown gravy with onions instead. I added mushrooms and more onions to the gravy and poured over the steaks once done.

I love it, its simple, quick and my family loves it. We even add sliced mushrooms and usually replace the beef with ground turkey. Just wonderful!

This was so good. I didn't have any onions so i added about a half cup of Picante sauce. It was so good and moist. I also made brown gravy instead of bbq sauce. I definitly recomend this recipe.

My family liked the recipe the first time I made it, but liked it more the second time around. The second time, I mixed hickory smoke BBQ sauce and the 1/4 c water in a saucepan and let it simmer for a couple of minutes so it was more of a thickened glaze, and it created new flavor. Still, I wish there was more to the sauce than just BBQ.

I used brown gravy instead of bbq, plus for it not to be so greasy i used a cookie sheet and placed a wire rack on it so the grease would drain while cooking!!

We make this recipe often and love it! We like using a full cup of Kraft Honey BBQ sauce instead of only a 1/2.

I made this and my family did not like. They preferred the brown gravy or the barbecue sauce.
