Easy, tasty, and even on the "healthier" side! Very good...try it! :)

I'd reduce the amount of stuffing mix in this recipe, and I'd add more herbs as well.

The kids at our cooking camp LOVED this recipe! This was the favorite of the two days by all of them. We decided the recipe as is, tastes more like meatloaf because of the bbq sauce. SO, we were thinking about combining half the amount of bbq sauce with a brown gravy packet nex time. The kids who don't eat mushrooms liked this as well. BUT, you could always finely chop the mushrooms and THEN mix and make the patties. We made our patties into X's and hearts for fun!

I do not recommend this recipe unless you are inlove with BBQ sauce since that is ALL you will taste.

After cooking the patties I made brown gravy from a mix, added 1 small jar of mushrooms then poured over the cooked patties and simmered until gravy was thickened. Very good over mashed potatoes.

Great recipe! I changed the sauce ingredients. Used 1 1/2 cups brown gravy, 2 tablespoons ketchup and 1 tablespoon worstershire sauce instead of barbecue sauce. I like a strong gravy taste as opposed to barbecue sauce.
