I made this for a family of 5 (my 2 yr old, 4 yr old, husband and elderly mother in law) I made white rice, and green peas as sides. We used regular brown gravy with sliced mushrooms...came out great!

We didn't like this. The bbq sauce was weird on salisbury steak so I agree with the people suggesting to just add brown gravy. Also it was dry and rather heavy. I probably would not make it again but if I did I would go with a higher fat content and gravy.

This was OK but nothing spectular. I thought it was dry but I used the leanest ground beef I could find and maybe that was the problem. I also thought there was too much stuffing mix in it even though I used slightly more ground beef than the recipe called for.

With the bbq sauce it gave it a new twist to the old salisbury steak recipe. I followed the recipe and it was so good, my husband went for seconds. We loved it! I will definitely make it again!

Used brown gravy instead and it was better without the mushrooms.
