This recipe is a hit in my family. I didn't like how it came out with the bbq sauce, so instead I make it with a jar of brown gravy with mushrooms. I don't have to buy mushrooms that way, either. Goes well with buttered noodles, mashed potatoes, and green bean casserole.

My family doesn't like mushrooms or BBQ sauce, so I subsituted a chicken gravy instead. SO yummy and fast!!

I made this dish with cheddar smashed potatoes and the eclair dessert. My husband has a hard time with heartburn when having BBQ sauce so I used a beef gravy instead and it turned out great. I did not put the meat into patties but put it in a pan like a meatloaf. The cheddar potatoes were excellent and the eclair dessert I used a french vanilla pudding instead of regular. My family was very pleased with the complete meal that did not even take an hour to make. Will definately make this meal again.

Big disappointment , They tasted like mini meat loaves instead of a salisbury steak when adding stuffing to the mix ? and BBQ sauce? will not make this again

I do not generally care for BBQ sauce, so I substituted Campbell's Golden Mushroom soup and made a sauce with that instead. It was great and had a true salisbury taste to it. My family loves this recipe.

Made this two times. Did not care much for it. Did not taste like Salisbury steak at all. Would love to find an easy true Salisbury steak recipe.
