Mac & Cheese Lasagna

My wife and I liked it, but it got a thumbs down from the little boss. I don't know why... probably because it was just too easy for me and mom to put together. You know how kids can be. haha

This was quick and easy. It must have been good, the kids asked for seconds!

This meal was fast and easy. I'll definitely make it again!

I made this recipe but with a twist. (which is probably why it tasted nasty to me) I used cheddar cheese instead of mozzarella. And I also doubled the recipe because my family is large. But for me it tasted like macaroni mixed with ketchup. I was disappointed. However, my kids did eat it, along with my husband who "overdosed" on mac-n-cheese as a kid. I will try the recipe again, but as it is written instead. I think traditional lasagna is easier than this was.

I was somewhat skeptical of this recipe. The combination of ingredients sounded less than appetizing, BUT I was very pleasantly surprised! I have 4 boys, and it is impossible to please all of them (usually). They ALL liked it, ate seconds, and asked me to fix it again. It's a keeper!!

Is my boyfriends new favorite. Shared with a friend and now its her kids favorite too. I get asked to make it about every two weeks.

easy and fast

We love having this for dinner, although next time I think I will use 1 lb of meat and put some seasoning in it. I also use less mozzerella than it calls for.

I did season the meat before hand and I'm sure that helped.
