I have made this recipe many many times. I have varied the recipe making bigger servings etc. It is a great change from apple etc. crisp

Awesome! My grandparents adored it and my parents were in lovve with it. I would totally make this again. Although i donot like pears so i used apples instead which tasted ah-mazing.

I wasn't thrilled with this recipe. It needed something else, not sure what, maybe oatmeal. I love Nilla Wafers but they didn't provide enough crunchy topping. I used walnuts instead of pecans because I often eat cut up pear and walnuts together and think it is a good combination.

This recipe was awesome! I had most of the items listed except I didn't have the vanilla wafers so I substituted for graham crackers ( I also used the miniture little graham crusts to put in the filling) it was excellent!

This one turned out SO good & the recipe was NOT as complicated as I thought it was going to be -- it was quite easy, in fact. And the only reason I even made this recipe was because I had some pears that someone had given me & I had to find a way to get rid of them (I'm not a pear fan) & ... wow! You can give me your extra pears any time you want! :D
