the only down side to this recipe is that mu husband prefers his veggies on the softer side. The frozen veggies stayed pretty crisp (how I like them) but next time I think I will use canned veggies instead.

What a great, easy recipe! We used cream of celery (more flavor) and cheddar cheese, and everyone loved it. My husband's looking forward to his leftover-lunch tomorrow. :o)

This reminds me a little of chicken pot pie without all of the extra work. It's not quite as good as homemade pot pie, but the ease of prep makes this a make-again recipe. I used peas and carrots instead of mixed veggies.

This is a great recipe...with variations. Use either cooked chicken or a can of chicken breast meat...I have used both and both are very good. Can chicken saves time...just break it up in a pan and sprinkle garlic and pepper on it and then mix it up with your other ingredients. If you want to use raw chicken cube it up and cook it first with a little bit of butter, pepper, and garlic. If you do it like the recipe says it will not cook and will make everything else in the pan mushy. I also like to use cream of celery soup insead of cream of chicken. It gives it a much better flavor than the cream of chicken. I use cheddar cheese instead of mozzarella because it gives it more flavor. Layer it on top of the veggies and kind mush it down a little before you put the Stove Top on on...it gives it this awesome cheesy layer. I also use a can of mixed vegetable instead of frozen because I always have those on hand. I get raves every time I make this!

The whole family like this. I used broccoli and cauliflower for the veggies, and it was so good we'll definitely make it again. The stuffing along with the veggies made the kids munch it up.

I have made this recipe many, many, many times over. I even have my sisters making it now. Hi, Girls. The only thing I make mine a little different. I make the stuff like it says but I add cheese to that. I also mix the chicken, soup, cheese, sour cream all together in the same bowl and then put in pan. Then I put stuffing on top. I bake for about 40 min to make sure chicken is cooked. Then top with more cheese and bake for 5 more min. ** I use fiesta blend cheese instead of Mozz. ** Also I add a TON more cheese to mix.

My husband and children really liked this. I wasn't crazy about it-it was the tomatoes.
