I have made this many times for my husband. I have added onions, broccoli, and changed the cheese to velvetta cheese cubed. He does not like broccoli, but he loves this recipe.
My whole family loved this. I will be making this more. It is very easy and quite tasty.
Super tasty and easy to make. The sour cream really adds just that bit extra. Yummy! I plan to make it again this week.
Had this at church. Used canned vegetables( 1 green bean, 1 carrot, 1 sweet peas) instead of frozen ones and canned chicken breast. It was wonderful. Easy fast and will make it again and again.
I didn't have sour cream so I left it out. I think it needs it. Try it again
My husband loved it so much he had seconds and leftovers for lunch and dinner the next day. He said it is the best thing I have ever made and he could eat it every week. There are only two meals that he likes so much he will stuff himself till he hurts: tacos and now this dish. I didn't have any cream of chicken soup on hand so I used cream of potato and it turned out great. I love stuffing so I think I will use more next time. It is a great way to hid veggies!
I was the only one who liked it and I thought it tasted better as left overs than the first time!
I assembled this dish in the afternoon and then baked it later. I added about 15 minutes cooking time-you could use cooked chicken and make it even quicker. Most plates were cleared, except picky 4-year old, who doesn't like food to touch.
The adults liked this dish, but the kids didn't care for it. Also, I baked it for 40 minutes (10 minutes more than the recipe stated), and there were still pieces of chicken that were partially raw. I had to microwave it for a bit more while my hungry family waited. I'd suggest using cooked chicken, not raw.
This recipe was excellent. My husband just loved it and I loved how fast and easy it was to put together. Next time I think I will try just broccoli for the veggie and extra sharp cheddar for the cheese! I am sure it will be just as good if not better! Thanks!
